Lapidary Equipment

There are more than 3,000 known minerals (rocks), all of them unique. Some are so beautiful that we make jewelry from them by cutting them into gemstones. Others are beautiful just as nature made them (specimen Rocks). At the Gift Gulch, it is our goal to provide the jewelry, the rock and the equipment buyer with variety and value.

Our Jewelry pieces are one of a kind handcrafted pieces. The stones are cut and the silverwork is all done on site. We use only natural stones, sterling silver and quality components. We can create jewelry to order utilizing your materials to create the stone or ours. We then work with you to choose or create the setting that best compliments your gemstone, wether it be an elegant beaded necklace or an elaborate Indian style ring.

The Gift Gulch has aquired old collections of rocks that contain jewelry and specimen grade rocks. We have opened our "ROCK FARM" for public rockhounding, with about 20,000 pounds of Jasper, Agate, Carnelian, Rhodonite, Obsidian, Wood, Fossils, Jade and many more. We offer Slices of exotic and rare rocks, ready to be trimmed out and cut into cabochons. Our slices are mostly 6 to 7 inches and 1/4 to 3/8 in thickness, and can be cut to order.

Lapidary equipment at half the price? At the Gift Gulch that is exactly what you get. We refurbish used equipment to near new condition. All of our equipment is built to provide years of trouble free service. Great care is taken to assure that our machines are safe and capable of doing the job. We offer double arbors with grinding and sanding wheels, a polishing head and water baths. We also get Highland Park cabochon machines, Frantom trim saws, Covington standing sanders and more. Our inventory always changes.
